Me the proud aunt. I declare him the most cutest baby I ever seen! First time I carried an infant. He is so fragile.. and he din move and din blink much. Just stare at me, look at ceiling… absolutely fascinating..

Despite watering the pot of flower plant consistently, the flowers are almost all gone.. Hubby threw in a green bean and it sprouted higher than the rest..

Eventful February

Feb 08 was an eventful month. A death, a birth and a wedding… the major events of life all squeezed into this short month. In contrast, CNY and Valentine’s day were forgettable..



We mourn the loss of L, who lost the battle against lung cancer at the age of 39. Sigh.. life is short, treasure it. Still, we are glad he is happy and peaceful in heaven. Jess, u have my immense respect and admiration for the strength and perseverance u have shown throughout the journey.




My nephew, the latest addition to my family, a bundle of joy to my parents who are now proud grandparents and who seemed very determined to dote on him and spoil him. Well, so am I!




My childhood fren’s wedding, a grand and glamorous affair. Congrats to Mindy n YL, that was a memorable and enjoyable wedding. Time flies, yesterday we were still mucking around at each other’s house, spilling your mum’s expensive shiseldo face powder on the floor, getting caned for it.. and then you grew taller than me and blossomed into a Miss Singapore finalist.. and now u married a wonderful guy. So happy for u..

Going Catty

Over the weekend, I passed by Bossini and saw some nice tees on sale. Bought two. Coincidentally, both were cute prints of cats. Wonder why they had a cat themed season of t shirt prints.





Since we were at Bugis, we dropped by National Library to enjoy the aircon. Found this book and borrowed it.

Hubby surprised me with a belated V day bouquet – a pot of flowers. I dun hv a green thumb, so he’s been watering it consistently every day. I like to think (delude myself) that he is taking care of me when he waters the plant with care.

Oosters Belgian at Suntec

Jess and I love Oosters. The Far East Square outlet is usu pretty crowded. Thankfully they opened a new one at Suntec City. Being new, they had a 1-for-1 promotion for draught beer and fruit beers between 6pm-9pm. We got that on a Fri evening at 8.30 and we had a nice quiet corner seat to ourselves. Service was pretty alright, at least they allowed us to have different flavour fruit beers in the 1-for-1 promo when initially they said the free beer wld be the same flavour.

Anywayz, their fruit beer is simply LOVELY. The last time we tried Raspberry, it was good, we both like it. Today we tried Peach beer and Cherry beer. Both were equally awesome. We only ordered a half pot of mussels that comes with super delicious frites and fantastic dipping sauce + out of the world garlic mayo.. been a while since I've been raving over food..

Unfortunately it was dark in the restaurant and my handphone cam cant take dark pics well. Either too dazzling bright with camera light on, or too dim without camera light.

A No Frills V day

14 Feb 08 marked my 3rd V day with hubby. No flowers.. no gifts, no card... Went to ABC mkt for a cheap and good meal that was below $15..

A New Handphone

After almost 2 yrs, i finally upgraded my hp. From Sony Ericsson K750 to k770, only a small 'upgrade'. K770 is slimmer n less bulky, with a higher camera resolution of 3.2megapixel compared to my previous 2 mp camera. However, i find that alot of features in my prev hp camera is missing in K770, eg night mode and macro mode, and most importantly, the zoom function... or maybe the functions are there, but I haven figure out how to activate them.

So anyway, with my sleek new phone camera, I got trigger happy

Brought my family to Furama Hotel Tiffany Cafe for buffet dinner as they were having 1-for-1 with POSB/DBS Card. The spread was pretty good, sashimi, chilli crab, roast duck etc.. Value for money, total bill $115 for 6 persons.

After a heavy buffet dinner, we walked back home from Chinatown.




Another day, another Ya Kun.. I'm addicted to their Kopi C..
